Management Information is an essential way of helping us to improve the quality of our services because it helps us to:

  • see what is happening and where – ensuring that the demographics of an area are properly reflected in the service;
  • keep track of customer numbers;
  • identify where our strategy is working well – and not so well; and
  • check if we are meeting our targets.

nextstep contractors are currently responsible for delivering:

  • 2.5 million information sessions; and
  • giving advice to 350,000 adults who have yet to achieve their first Level 2 qualification.

Each month, nextstep contractors send in Management Information (MI) returns through the specially-designed system: www.lsciag.misystem.co.uk/
